The Demon’s Cycle Do It Yourself Clearance Sale of Custom Harley Davidson Parts

There is nothing like being a DIY type of person. Getting the job done yourself, making repairs, building new things and the best part is the sense of accomplishment you get when the job is done. Harley Davidson owners know all about do it yourself as many of them make repairs on their motorcycles rather than sending it to a local bike shop. It’s not just about saving money, it’s about working on your own bike and making the repairs or upgrades you want. That’s what makes it truly custom.

In the spirit of DIY and because a lot of repair and upgrade work is done on motorcycles during the winter, Demon’s Cycle is having a do it yourself clearance sale on all custom Harley Davidson parts; specifically:

1.       Handlebars: One of the simplest changes the DIY Harley owner will take on. It doesn’t matter if you own a softail, bagger or sportster, changing your handlebars are a common thing and you may stick with what you have and just upgrade or you may want to make a big change from T-bars to ape hangers or vice versa. It really doesn’t matter; Demon’s Cycle has the best selection of softail handlebars and bars for every other Harley you can think of.

2.       Wheels and rims: Another favorite among the Do It Yourself Harley Davidson Owners. You can now find a great selection of custom wheels and rims for baggers, sportsters and softails in chrome or black, 40, 48, 60 and 80 spoke.

3.       Headlights: Plenty of design options and all have been marked down so that you can get what you want for a great price, some for as low as $39.

4.       Gas tanks: Looking for a stretched gas tank for your sportster? Why not get a great deal on the tank before you start doing the work yourself?

DIY Harley repairs doesn’t mean you have to do all the work yourself. If you do decide that a job needs to be done by a mechanic then why not do the ordering and selecting the parts on your own? If you look for and purchase the custom Harley parts yourself you are going to save hundreds not only because you are finding a better deal but because you are able to avoid those high markups bike shops will charge you.

Demon’s Cycle encourages you to have a mechanic work on your motorcycle for any repair or upgrade jobs that you feel uncomfortable doing. Mistakes can cost time and money and can be avoided if you go to a professional.

So if you love to do it yourself and you are planning on making some upgrades or repairs for your Harley Davidson this winter then don’t wait on getting an unbeatable deal on custom motorcycle parts from Demon’s Cycle.

Demon’s Cycle Custom Ape Hanger Handlebars for Quality on a Budget

There’s a myth that you have to pay more to get better quality? Why? Why can’t you pay a fair price and get a quality item? Demon’s Cycle believes that you should and that’s why they offer custom Harley Davidson motorcycle parts at a fair price and in some cases even a lower price than that. The reason is because of volume and cost. As an online store Demon’s Cycle is able to ship out ten times as many Harley Davidson parts as a local shop can.
Why is this important to you? Because as a consumer you want the company that is doing more business because they can offer their products at a lower price and also because they will have a larger selection. Who do you think has more shelf space; the local store that was a pizza restaurant a few months ago or the online store that has a giant warehouse full of the custom Harley Davidson parts?
Let’s use another example of why you should shop with Demon’s Cycle. Do you need a new set of handlebars? Maybe you want to upgrade to a set of ape hangers for your softail or something else. When you walk into the local bike shop they are limited in shelf space so they have to sell whatever is the most popular. They can’t afford to carry the rare or custom handlebars you may be looking for.
Even if they are willing and able to order just one set of ape hangers for you then you are still looking at a high markup by the store and a higher price from the manufacturer because they are only buying one single item. Demon’s Cycle is one of the largest Harley Davidson parts distributors in the World. That means they have dozens of those unique ape hanger handlebars you want and because they bought so many they got them at a discount and can sell them at a cheaper price to you than anyone else can.
But what about quality? That’s the ironic part; Demon’s Cycle gets their custom Harley parts including handlebars for Softails, Dyna, Sportster or any other bike at the same factory as the store in town. Furthermore they review and inspect their parts before sending them out. How’s that for quality?
So if you want the best quality for the lowest possible price and a bigger selection than you can imagine then shop with Demon’s Cycle and get what you really want.

Is It Time To Change Up Your Harley Handlebars?

Ape Hanger Handlebars for Harley Davidson Motorcycle
You’ve had your Harley Davidson for years and you love it, you wouldn’t change a thing. It doesn't matter if you own a softail, dyna or bagger, you are happy with what you have. You take it out on weekends, if the weather looks good you take it to work, every summer you plan a long trip to take, the destination is irrelevant because the fun is riding your Harley there and back. But did you notice a problem on your last trip? Do those weekends not feel like they used to? Did you have to get off your bike and walk around for a few minutes to stretch? The problem isn’t your bike, the problem is the way you are sitting on your Harley and it may be time to make a change.
But do you have to go out and buy a brand new Harley Davidson? Of course not, you can completely alter the feel of your bike with a new set of Harley ape hanger handlebars. It really is that simple, if you have T-bars or the standard bars most bikes have you may notice that your back stiffens more than usual when you go out for a ride. Rather than having to lean forward you can actually sit more upright, in a comfortable position with a set of ape hanger handlebars. This is not only a great way to get a more comfortable ride but it actually gives your bike a completely different look without having to make big changes.
A lot of riders prefer ape hangers to other types of handlebars on their motorcycle not only because it allows them to sit upright when riding but because they feel that it gives them more of a peripheral view. Comfort and better vision are pretty good benefits to making the switch but how do you know which size to get?
If you have never had ape hanger handlebars on your motorcycle before it can be a little tricky ordering them. It doesn’t matter if you have ridden a bike that has them because that bike will be different than yours. People make the mistake of riding a bike with ape hangers, like the feel and order the same exact size bars only to install them and realize they do not feel the same way.
The best thing to do is to sit on your bike in the position you would be with apes and then hold your arms out to a comfortable position. Hold your arms for at least ten seconds and if they get tired or feel uncomfortable you know that is not the right location for them. Once you find a spot you like have someone take measurements and that will give you the most accurate way of getting measurements for ape hangers for your own bike.
Can I still get them custom?
One of the things motorcycle owners love is that they can customize their bikes to be different. You can get custom Harley Davidson handlebars at low prices so don’t worry about that.
Do I have to change other parts?
Depending on the type of bike you have you may need to change a couple of additional parts but nothing crazy. It won’t require any major changes so costs should remain around what you were expecting. Be sure to check with the manufacturer, your mechanic or the distributor before you make any changes but for the most part you should be good to go.
Other than that don’t concern yourself with drastically altering your motorcycle. It’s not like you have to buy new wheels just because you are changing the handlebars. You may need new hand controls but any store will have those as a selection with the bars you are looking to purchase. You may even find a better deal on new bars with hand controls that you don’t have to spend the time doing the wiring yourself.

Should I Buy Local?
The problem with shopping at local stores, especially if you want custom parts, is that local shops are going to have a smaller selection and the prices are usually much higher. If you can afford to wait a couple of extra days for shipping and take the time to look online you will not only find a better selection but you can save a lot of money.
What should I do with my old set?
EBay, Craigslist, Amazon or anywhere else you can think of. There are plenty of places you can sell your used bars and make a little bit of money. Other Harley owners will be looking for used bars for their sportster, dyna, softail or bagger so you have a chance to make a quick sale. Most of the time when people need to make repairs to their Harley they are looking for used parts. If you can afford it however, you really do want to go with new ones.

Demon’s Cycle Reviews Harley Davidson Handlebars

When Demon’s Cycle reviews handlebars for Harley Davidson motorcycles please understand that some of the names you see may not be familiar because they are the names of the custom handlebars you can only find from Demons Cycle. There are several different types of bars to choose from and most of them are similar in design but they could be used on different styles of Harleys. For example;

·       Ape Hangers: This is where things can get a little tricky. What type of motorcycle do you have? Do you have a touring bike? If so you will need handlebars that fit that particular bike as well as what you are looking for. Ape hangers have a specific arch to them which allows you to sit up straight when riding your motorcycle. They have a distinctively different look to them than standard bars and give you a different ride. The benefits are that they offer you an alternative way to sit which can make your ride more comfortable, especially if you are taking a long trip. Some common nicknames for various custom styles including ones with gussets are; El Diablo or Frisco bars.

·       T-Bars: These are the more custom or standard ones you will see where you actually lean forward more while riding. Many people feel more comfortable with T-bars simply because they are probably the first bars you had on a bike when you learned to ride. Another reason people like this design is because they feel that the T-bar gives them better control but again that may be based on comfort. The important thing to remember is that you stick with what you are comfortable with. You never want to put something on your motorcycle that makes the ride feel off or gives you less control.

One of the main things to keep an eye out for when picking custom handlebars is that you are going with the right size. That is more important than the style. If the bars you pick are too short or too big it will make your ride less comfortable, no matter which custom style you select.

Again the reviews you will find on must custom bars is based on opinion, how someone felt with those particular bars on their particular bike. No two bikes are the same and that’s why you shouldn’t base your decision and purchase solely on what someone else says. If you have the ability to get on a bike that has T-Bars or Ape Hangers and experience what they feel like then that is the only way you are going to have an idea of what you can expect before you buy bars for your bike. Also it is important to remember that if you are looking for any Harley Davidson parts to replace, that you may actually want to try something new. Even if you stick with the same type, a different size can give you a different and possibly more comfortable feel when you ride. Just an idea you may want to consider when you are looking to replace your handlebars.
